Posts: 1912 Thu, Jun 4, 2009 5:15 AM	Tags : None Hey Lance. As you are aware my profile name is PeterWpa1 and I have been that for a long time and certainly since I joined here. I am also a member (in Australia) of Yuku "Touring Oz" site where I was always annoyed that my name there was showing up as *PeterWpa1.canondslrphotographyclub. Now nothing wrong with the Canon bit but hey that aint ME! Tonight I tried to change the name at the Australian site where they tell you to raise another Profile, which I did as PeterWpa1, and it changed (but I can no longer access the site...but maybe a password or something has to happen) but then what happens here.......I am now on the Canon site* I am profiled as *PeterWpa1.touringoz.* What a bloody circus. Are we able to fix this so I can go back to just being PeterWpa1? Does Yuku have problems with one person being on 2 sites? No major issue and just look into it when you have time. Posts: 4588 Thu, Jun 4, 2009 8:15 AM	i think this is the result of joining a group & joining Yuku at the same time. the way to avoid this (i think) is to join Yuku (create an account) and then join groups. it is annoying, i don't know why they set it up this way but i've had members rejoin to avoid this tag at the end of their name. unfortunetely i think that is what you'd have to do. i haven't had to go through this process, so anyone who has please chime in! Posts: 677 Thu, Jun 4, 2009 4:05 PM	Lance is correct.... but if you rejoin throught the Yuku main page...you will have to re apply for membership to all the communites u r in...thats what i did....I have 3 different profiles.....all dognation1....but that way I can have profiles specfic to the communikty i am in....so i like the way it is set up....but i can see where it would be a hassle. I finally worked out how to log in again (couldn't do it from my usual "favourites" spot) and did so using my original PeterWpa1 tag and password via Google to the Club site. It seems I can now also reply although at the bottom of the page (who is on site) I see I still have the "touringoz" tail to my name tag. If you can get rid of that it would be great. I don't know why I have two profiles (PeterWpa1 & PeterWpa1.touringoz) but it is probably due to my Yuku membership on the touringoz site. Not sure what you can do but I prefer to have only the one profile of PeterWpa1 to avoid all confusion. The main thing is for me to be able access the site as in the past. Posts: 1 Thu, Jun 4, 2009 4:13 PM	It all depends on where you log in.....if you login the yuku.com home page.....you shouldnt have anything behind your name.... if you log in to a specific community like canon dslr and post in that community..you shouldnt have anything behind your name.... if you log in to a specific community like canon dslr and post in another community (touringoz) you will have the canondslrphotographyclub at the end of your name.... and vice versa if you should log into the "oz" community and then post here (dslr).....
